Christopher Robert Evans, born on June 13, 1981 is an American actor. He began his acting career playing roles in television shows such as Opposite sex in 2000. Following appearances in several teen films including 2001's Not Another Teen Movie he became famous for his portrayal of the Marvel Comics character, the Human Torch in 2005's Fantastic Four and the sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans has also been featured in movie versions of comics and graphic novels TMNT (2007), Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009), Snowpiercer (2003). Evans' portrayal as Steve Rogers as Captain America was featured was in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014 and 2015), Captain America: Civil War (2016) and Avengers: Infinity War (2018) in addition to Endgame 2019 brought him greater acceptance. He became one of the top-paid actors around the globe thanks to his involvement in the Marvel series.
